Publicity photo with Ben Hensley and Michael Gregory  The end of the song Grateful, where Jessica gets the boot  Crowning me queen of femininity. BAHAHAHAHAHH!  Love Crawls In, where we tried desperately to waltz  Singing Ben to sleep wasn't an easy task  Wherein Jessica makes use of her amazing air piano talents

Splendora, Jessica Gatewood

A sneak peek at the short film I did this year. This isn't even out yet! I play a demonic babysitter. Look at the eeeeevil in my eyes.

The Hollywood Babysitter, Evie

I loved this costume.    With my Raven Prince (not John Uskglass).   I'm in the upper left corner, praying to revive the dead.

Maria Morevna, Yelena

Most flattering shot ever.

Gotham, Jane

photo: Lynette Silva    photo: Lynette Silva (also pictured: Amani Malaika as Joanne)

Rent, Maureen

This was, I kid you not, "Shakespeare in the Park(ing Lot)"

A Midsummer Night's Dream, Titania

This show was directed by a Morman man who believed that there were dinosaurs living in the center of the Earth.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Narrator

I toured as a singing Shakespeare waif, and threw up every night backstage. Worst stage experience ever.

Doing Thy Will - Desdemona

I looked forward to the moment I got to whip Paul Ford (Sade) every night.    Gorgeous set and lighting by John Malolepsy

Marat/Sade, Corday

I vant to suck your blood.

Phantom, Carlotta

The summer of vampy bitches continues.   With Dana P. Dimon as...whatever her name was.

Lend Me A Tenor, Diana

Me as Bea Arthur. Seriously. Probably the most fun I've had with a part ever, because nobody cared by that point. With Caesar Samayoa.

Me And My Girl, Lady Jasper

This was the summer I was consistently cast as villains. At first I hated it, but I came to enjoy the breezy way that a villain gets to sweep in, mess everything up, and sweep out. Strangely, this show was double-cast and on some nights I had to go on as Frau Schmidt, the cranky but lovable maid.

Sound of Music, Elsa

That's right. I was a man. A MINER. A coal miner. That's summerstock for ya. Note that I was the one to go with the goatee. Also pictured: Beth Kirkpatrick on the left, looking like a very downcast hobo.    Twice during the show we'd have to take our beards off and tart it up as showgirls. Ahhh, theatre.

Paint Your Wagon, Miner and Showgirl

This was the rehearsal wig. It's a fright. The real wig came in time for opening but not for these pictures. Yowza.    One of my most favoritest stage moments ever.

Sweeney Todd, Johanna

What you can't see is that this set is like 4,000 feet in the air over a moving turntable.    I got to keep that white gown. Also pictured: Chris Pierce as Phillipe.

Phantom, Christine Daae

Thanks for the chastity lock, mum! This thing works wonders!

Into the Woods, Rapunzel

It's unfortunate that I only have a backstage shot from this show. The set design was pretty cool.

Evita, Ensemble

Tifanie dug this out for me. I loved playing this character so much. This is me wielding a stick in a throroughly debauched manner. That's Flashback Gabe on the right.

As You Like It, Jaques

Me and my mom on the set.

Fiddler on the Roof, Ensemble

I had a hooker costume on under that. I think I'm 12 here.

Oliver, Ensemble

Note that I am big enough to beat up Miss Hannigan myself.    Um...you...that GIGANTIC girl...down in front! I mean good lord, my torso is bigger than that whole kid next to me!    God, what is there to say? I'm 10 here.

Annie, July
