About Adriana
Adriana is an award-winning actor, singer, and writer, known for originating Christine Daaé in Phantom and fronting the Los Angeles–based band The Endless. Her stage and screen credits include Gotham (Off-Broadway), Seasons of Love: Rent in Concert, Holiday Road, Angels & Demons, and the cult sci-fi series Space Hospital.
Adriana Roze began her stage career as a child in Annie and The Sound of Music. She later originated the role of Christine Daaé in the Southwest premiere of Kopit and Yeston’s Phantom, and subsequently played her rival, Carlotta. Favorite leading roles include Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Maureen in the Bravo Award–winning Seasons of Love: Rent in Concert, which she also produced and directed. She created the role of Jane in the original musical Gotham at Goodspeed Opera House (later Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre) and appeared in Jonathan Larson’s ½ MT House at MTC.
On screen, Adriana’s credits include leading roles in Holiday Road and The Hollywood Babysitter, and appearances in Angels & Demons, The Diamonds of Metro Valley, Over the Counter, PBS’s The Story of Mabel Dodge (as Alice B. Toklas), and five seasons of the cult sci-fi series Space Hospital—both live-action and animated—as a series regular. She has been featured in numerous short films, music videos, and stage productions ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary drama.
Beyond acting, Adriana served as archivist for the complete works of Jonathan Larson, now preserved at the Library of Congress. She is also a playwright, author-illustrator of the children’s book Krowkus and Banjo, and is currently developing a new musical as a lyricist. A multi-faceted musician, she is the lead singer and songwriter of the Los Angeles–based band The Endless.
Adriana is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA, and Maestra, and lives in Hollywood beneath the shadow of the Griffith Observatory with her musician husband and their remarkable son.
